Cher was bred by the Gypsy Rose Ranch, and is the first [intlink id="1280" type="post"]Romipen[/intlink] x [intlink id="1290" type="post"]Bibby[/intlink], filly. She has survived many adversities early in life and as such has earned a place in the hearts of all at the GRR. Cher is a bit opinionated, but very loving, and she thinks she is part human, due much in part to all the human interaction she endured the first months of her life. She is getting much larger than her Mom, and will make a wonderful ride / drive mare. She will also get certified for animal service / holistic therapy, as she does know what it is to overcome those adversities thrown her way. Cher will not be bred until she is at least 4 years old, as we want her to be well developed prior to putting her body through the stresses of pregnancy, but we will be looking for that special guy to match her attributes with, so that we can continue the Performance Gypsy Horse™ lines. Doovar, was bred by the Gypsy Rose Ranch, and the first retained [intlink id="1280" type="post"]Romipen[/intlink] x [intlink id="1282" type="post"]Ms. Bodi[/intlink] , filly selected to carry on the [intlink id="1282" type="post"]Ms. Bodi[/intlink], tradition. She is my dream horse come true ! I always wanted a draft horse, always loved the Black with 4 high whites, and to get it all in one package, and as a Bodi Filly, was all I could ask for! Doovar has the sweetest disposition and wants to please, she is built like her Mom, (muscle machine), yet moves with the grace of a Gazelle. Doovar is willing, intelligent and athletic, she will be trained in all disciplines, just like her Mom. I will start looking for her first husband in 2010, and probably pull an embryo from her, so that she can continue her training, yet still produce a beautiful next generation Gypsy Rose Ranch Performance foal. Image, was bred by the Gypsy Rose Ranch andis the first retained filly selected to carry on the tradition. She is [intlink id="1280" type="post"]Romipen[/intlink] x [intlink id="1286" type="post"]Peppy[/intlink] and a double, bred Gypsy King Grand daughter who exhibits fluid movement, with elegance and size! We have not bred Image as yet, she is still growing and being worked with. She will be large like her Mom, [intlink id="1286" type="post"]Peperooga[/intlink], and will be matched to [intlink id="1286" type="post"]Peperooga[/intlink] as a driving pair. Often when photographed, Image looks a lot like her Grandsire Gypsy King. She has long flowing forelock, mane, tail, and feather, and when she steps out with her long reaching, floating stride, all that hair just gives her na enchanting look. She has a sweet disposition, and yet can be animated. We will start a serious search for her first husband in 2010, and possibly breed her for a [intlink id="1204" type="page"]Embryo Transplant[/intlink], so that she can continue her training. Checkers has a sweet personality, and wonderful coloring. Checkers loves to run, and is trained to western saddle, turns barrels, and will be campaigned in Gymkhana events in the near future. In June of 2001, Bodi's Peperóoga (Dancing Girl) arrived at the Gypsy Rose Ranch. This filly was an embryo transplant, one of the three methods used for procreation of the Performance Gypsy breed. FROM DENNIS THOMPSON: ORIGINAL IMPORTER OF PERFORMANCE GYPSY HORSES Ms. Bodi was one of the first 14 Gypsy mares in North America. She is a daughter of Romany Rye (The White Horse). The White Horse was one of the best three stallions we discovered in our years of searching for the ultimate breed foundation stallions. His image is etched on the tombstone of a Gypsy that had dedicated 50 years of his life in the effort to produce his perfect caravan horse.(Vanner) Below the etching of the White Horse is an etching of the White Horses father. When Cindy and I stood with that man's sons to evaluate fillies, produced by this great stallion Cindy said what is that fillies name? That's the Bodi Filly he said. With a puzzled look Cindy said, " what does Bodi mean"? You know the Gypsy said, as he moved his hands in the shape of a woman's body, "She has a great Bodi." What could be more appropriate at the worlds first Performance Gypsy Horse show than for the Supreme Halter Horse to be the daughter of a Supreme stallion etched on a Gypsies grave and what could be more appropriate than for that daughter to have been named by that Gypsies son, The Bodi Filly.

Ms. Bodi’s journey began in Wales where she was born. In October 1999, Ms. Bodi was chosen by Lynn Strauman to be the [intlink id="1091" type="page"]first Performance Gypsy Horse™ shipped west of the Mississippi[/intlink]. She was imported to the United States with the first group of Performance Gypsy Horses™ when she was 14 months old. She arrived in Northern California on December 9th, 1999, and has since been established as the foundation for the Performance Gypsy Horse breeding stock at The Gypsy Rose Ranch. Bodi, was bred to The Gypsy King as a 4 year old and foaled [intlink id="1284" type="post"]Yaven[/intlink] in the spring of 2000. She also produced an embryo for transplant in that same year by Gypsy King. [intlink id="1286" type="post"]Bodi's Peperooga[/intlink], was born in June of 2001. Bodi is intelligent, and the most docile horse you will ever come across. Bodi is fully trained for driving, western pleasure, English flat seat, trail, working stock and entry, level dressage.
